We went to the zoo and ran into our friends from small group. Today was our first chance to see the new giraffe exhibit. Pretty fun!!!

Lydia's been learning how to play Candy Land. She enjoys the rule play/turn taking for about 3 turns, and then she wants to play make believe with the game pieces and the pictures on the board! (Needless to say, I win every time!)

We had so much fun watching the Aunt Chris/Uncle John edited version of "The Lion King" with Lydia. Hyenas? Too scary -- skip that section. Mufasa dies? No way. One day, she will watch the entire movie and think Disney has made an all new version. :)

Thanks for skipping the hyenas. The Little Einstein version of the giant in Jack and the Beanstalk is too scary right now! The last thing she needs is more craziness to add to her imagination!
As for the quilt...I'm still not sure where the wonky parts are!
